The Department

     The Horton Police Department with Chief of Police Richard Luzier, provides service to the City of Horton’s residents. The Police Department furnishes 24 hour a day, 7 day a week services. The Police Department is responsible for the protection and safety of life and property, the investigation of crimes, the enforcement of laws and City Ordinances and the maintenance of reliable records. In addition to these primary duties, the department maintains a close working relationship with area public safety agencies. The Police Department is staffed by six full-time State Cerified Police Officers, and one part time Officer.
