City is seeking bids on the hauling of street materials on an as needed basis.

Project Specifications:
All bids must be sealed and made in
accordance with the enclosed bid schedule. Street materials &
aggregate bids, pursuant to enclosed bid schedule, should denote the
price per loaded mile for hauling on an as needed basis only. The
City of Horton reserves the right to perform the hauling of materials
with their own equipment but will need outside hauling services as
well. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible
bidder. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all
bids. All bids should be for the year of 2013. Fuel
adjustments will be made according to the EIA Midwestern price averages
on the basis of incremental price increases of $0.10 cents per
gallon. For each $0.10 cents per gallon that fuel increases based
on EIA Midwestern price averages, bidders for hauling will be allotted
an additional $.01 cent per mile (not per ton per
mile) to the bid price. Daily EIA Midwestern price
